I’m not a perfect person. There’s many things I wish I didn’t do. But I continue learning. I never meant to do those things to you. And so I have to say before I go…that I just want you to know.

I’ve found a reason for me. To change who I used to be. A reason to start over new…and the reason is you.

I’m sorry that I hurt you.It’s something I must live with everyday. And all the pain I’ve put you through.I wish that I could take it all away. And be the one who catches all your tears….

* I’ve liked…I mean loved this song eversince. I first heard it when I was still an ATL and was assigned to monitor a team on GY shift. They’ve been playing this song over and over and over again. Then it dawned on me that…this song is for me. At that time, I was dedicating it for someone though the lyrics and meaning of the song didn’t quite fit our story. 

Now, I don’t anymore. It’s not for him. It’s for someone else now. This song is perfect for me/us. Every lyric of it. A very memorable song.

I wish I can undo things. I wish I can undo events. I wish that they didn’t happen. But they did. Still, I’m grateful for what I’ve learned. Yes, I can’t undo what happened then but I can try to re-do things in the future…if fate will allow it.

the right one

Michelle and Muskkey got married last Sunday. Suby and Chito are getting married too, this Sunday. Siguro kung ako ang ikakasal sobrang excitement ang mararamdaman ko ‘cause finally, I’ll be marrying the man I love. Every wedding that I attended, naiiyak ako. From my friend Pam’s wedding to Badet’s to Michelle’s. Para sa akin, it’s so touching, really. I usually gets teary eyed kapag naglalakad na yung bride sa aisle. At the end of that aisle is the man she chose to spend forever with.

Sa dinami-dami ng tao sa mundo, heto kayong dalawa ngayon, professing vows and taking love to a higher level. Ang sarap lang siguro ng feeling na alam mo na itong taong ‘to, gusto niyang ikaw ang makasama niya dahil ikaw ang pinili niya.  Na iba ka sa lahat. Na ikaw ang BEST para sa kanya.

Siguro kahit ako ‘yon, yun din iisipin ko sa taong papakasalan ko. Kaya siya, kasi siya yon..hehe ang gulo! Kahit na mas may guapo sa kanya, mas matangkad, mas matalino, mas mayaman, etc. Siya pa rin ang pipiliin ko dahil nag-iisa lang siya. Unique siya sa iba.

Siyempre tayo naman usual thinking natin, we won’t settle for anything less. Parang damit, out of all the rest, ang pinili mo yung simpleng black dress. Or pwedeng pinili mo is yung expensive, designer dress. Or yung light colored, overflowing floral dress. O kaya naman yung virginal white one with intricate designs. So many to choose from, really. Pero you decided and chose to have the dress that will complement your assets more, yung mas bagay sa iyo. Yung best para sa iyo. Kaya nga, hanap ka lang hanap. Kahit masakit na paa mo sa kakahanap, okay lang, kayang tiyagain ’cause you know na makikita mo rin yung hinahanap mo in the end. Pag di mo siya nakita ngayon, bukas ulit..kung wala pa, bukas ulit. Hanap ka na naman. Ayaw mo naman masayang ang effort and money mo to just spend on something na ayaw mo. Yung parang ‘sige na, eto na lang, kahit hindi ito talaga gusto ko, eto na lang bibilhin ko.’

Hanggang sa eto na, at last, nakita mo na rin! Yung sakit ng paa mo or sakit ng bulsa mo, it almost won’t matter. What’s more important is heto na siya, by hook or by crook, kailangan maging akin siya. Eto talaga ang para sa akin. 

Siya lang. Wala ng iba.
