coins..coins..coins..

Taj, Love and I are thinking of having a garage sale by May. I’m actually looking forward to it since it’s going to be my first time, if in case. I thought of sorting out nga my closet para it’ll be ready na. My closet is so messy hehe…and I want to unclutter it with stuff that I really don’t use anymore. There are shirts, pants and shoes that I’ve bought that are still unused. Actually, marami na ring nabawas because I gave some away to my cousins na. But of course, the more we buy the more we accumulate things..may nababawas, may nadadagdag. So, it’ll be better to get rid of the old or unused ones and use the money to buy new ones hehe:0)

Now, I’ve 3 shoes that I haven’t used yet. The other 2, I gave to my sister and cousin. Why? Because those two don’t fit me. I think, I’m not a wise buyer/shopper. Basta gusto ko kahit last size, an inch or half inch na masikip binibili ko. Hindi na’ko natuto hehe:0) I’m thinking once I’ve worn them, it’ll fit na rin. Unfortunately, hindi ko kayang tiisin dahil masakit sa paa:) Last Wednesday, I bought 2 again, 1 black (for office wear) and 1 red flats. And, I’ve learned my lesson already from buying shoes that don’t fit me. I was tempted to buy the black shoes at Figlia but they don’t have half sizes. I nearly settled for that size 6 black shoes since I liked it very much. I’m either 6 1/2 or 7. I was disappointed kasi gusto ko na sana siya pero I told myself, I should only buy what I can wear. Fortunately, I was able to buy 1 from Janeo. And the shoes fit me well. Same thing happened to the red one I bought, no 6 1/2 size too. So I settled for size 7. I’ve worn them and my feet didn’t hurt. Good for me ’cause I’ve been buying shoes that really hurt my feet. hehe:) So, I’m still thinking if I’ll include na lang the unused ones sa garage sale. Kasi gusto ko nman sila eh..well, bahala na. I should make an inventory of my things and bring them to Taj and Love’s place.

So, garage sale is a good idea. Make money out of your stuff and buy stuff with the money earned from it. Hehe:)

trip trip lang

Kahapon while nagbe-break kami nina Jeanne and Taj, napagkwentuhan ulit naming ang Hongkong. Originally, it was Jeanne and Suby’s plan to go to Hongkong, sumama lang ako sa plano nila then I told Taj. Excited na kami and sana matuloy. Just like Taj and Jeanne, I also want to go to the places I haven’t visited yet this year. Siyempre, dito sa atin and at least Asia. Sabi nga ni Jeanne, kailangan maging part ng goal ng kikay gels na mag-travel, if not out of the country at least ditto sa ‘tin especially yung mga places na hindi pa namin napupuntahan.

If out of the country, of course, first stop is Asia and that neither of us has visited that country yet.  Suby and Jeanne have been to Singapore na, Taj in Malaysia, Me in Bangkok. So, tanong namin, what’s next after HK? HeheJ hindi pa nga natutuloy nagbabalak na agad.

Before talaga, hindi ako mahilig mag-aalis, maglalabas. Enough na sa akin ang paminsan-minsang coffee and dinner sa labas with friends. When friends invite me for an out of town trip ekek, never akong sumama. Mas preferred ko to stay home lang. Wala talaga akong desire before na mag-aalis especially if out of town. My vacation to the US siguro yung nag-give way for me because siyempre when you travel, dami kang natutuhan, nalalaman and nae-encounter. Since I really enjoyed it there, sabi ko sa sarili ko, I should be able to discover things and places from now on while I can. Sayang yung time  and whatever naman na gagastusin mo is I’m sure, masusulit sa experience pa lang. Yeah, nabawasan ang kayamanan natin heheJ but in the end, masaya ang experience. Masarap ang adventure lalo na with friends…saya saya!

So, I’m really looking forward to our HK trip…Jeanne, Taj and Suby. Taj is super excited too ‘coz it’s HER adventure na naman hehehe..’to talagang si Taj, taga-kodak niya na naman kami hehehe. Sana rin this September, I’ll be able to go with Eds sa Guam, Suby seems interested too, so sana matuloy rin…

I am reading this book and I wasn’t really inspired by it. I had regrets of having bought that book though I got it at Book Sale for only P35. The title was catchy enough for me to take hold of it…but it didn’t meet my expectations. I was hoping to at least learn some positive stuff. I wanted to be entertained at the same time. I was quite annoyed on his attempts at humor. His attempts weren’t funny at all. So, I decided to drop reading it and went for the other one I also bought at Book Sale. I’ve only read the preface so far. The title is ‘Oprah Winfrey Speaks’ and I think, this will engage me enough to read it from cover to cover. I like Oprah. I want to know more about her.

Last week, Ferna lent me a book authored by Og Mandino entitled, ‘The Greatest Salesman in the World.’ The book was old and torn already. Actually, Ferna even told me to return it to her since it was given to her by Roy (one of her best friends) and she couldn’t get a copy of it anymore in bookstores. Now, this one really inspired me! It was so good that I even keep on re-reading the scrolls from 1 to 10. I’ve heard of this book before but I thought, it was just like the others that focus on getting rich and all… but it wasn’t. Being the greatest salesman isn’t really directed in accumulating the worldly wealth.

I want to catch up again on reading as I missed the joy of it last year. I wasn’t on a ‘reading mode’ that time but lately, I had this urge to read again. I want to learn and be entertained at the same time. I can go to the places I’ve never been to before, know about different cultures…without going anywhere….
