scattered thoughts
Thursday, November 29, 2007Later today we'll be having our get together 'once again' at Cheska's, Taj's and Love's apartment. Cheska will leave tomorrow to CDO and Nyles to Singapore…so sad. But then, we both wish them the best in their chosen paths. Despite the distance I'm sure that we'll all still be in touch.
Anyway, we're allowed to go home early today too because of the Trillanes 'thing' again. Right now I'm feeling soooo bored. Ferna is currently finishing her immersion with PAM while Taj, Jeanne, Cheska and Love can't go home yet. Me? I'm beside Taj and currently writing this. Taj is now savouring the cupcake that I bought from Sam. Actually, she only forced me to give one to her because she's 'so matakaw'…hehe:) peace Tajmahal. I thought of going to Rob Pioneer to look for rubber shoes but since nobody can come with me, I decided not to. I'll just shop for a pair some other time.
Tomorrow's a holiday and it's gonna be a long weekend. I've almost finished watching the DVD series that I bought a week ago aside from What About Bryan. So maybe that's what I'm going to feast my eyes on since Barry Watson is really good-looking plus I love the plot of the story. What else….Ahh, I downloaded Gia, a movie by Angelina Jolie where she won an award. It was a good film based on a true story of Marie Carangi. Another one that I download from Veoh TV was the The Brown Bunny by Vincent Gallo and Chloe Sevigny (this movie was said to have been booed at the Cannes Film Festival). Well, I'd like to watch it anyway.
Here's the brief synopsis of Gia:
Fact-based story of supermodel Gia Carangi follows her life from a rebel working in her father's diner at age 17 to her death in 1986 aged 26 from AIDS, one of first women in America whose death was attributed to the disease. In between, she followed a downward spiral of drug abuse and failed relationships.
